What happens on Sundays?
What to Expect
When you arrive at one of our locations, you’ll be greeted by a friendly person from our Welcome Team. If you let them know that it’s your first time then they’ll be happy to show you round and answer any questions. Our services last for about an hour and twenty minutes and include worship music, some videos and a talk (either live or streamed from another location).
After the service, tea and coffee are served at the back with a chance to chat to one of our Connect Team if you’d like to find out more about Rising Brook.
Kids & Youth
Children and young people are one of the most important parts of our church. Our Children, Youth & Families Team run a number of programmes on Sunday mornings that you can bring your kids along to:
Rising Brook Tots is for children aged 1 to 4 years and runs alongside our 10:30am service at the Church Centre.
Rising Brook Kids is for all children in Reception to Year 6 and meets at 10:15am – 12:00am at the Church Centre.
Rising Brook Youth is for young people in Year 7 to Year 9 and meets at 10:15am at the Church Centre.
What should I do next?
There are two great ways for you to get involved in church life:
On Tuesday evenings, our church centre opens up for a range of different groups, courses and meetings. Our community cafe is open from 5:30pm to 7:30pm and our Tuesday Central team would love to get to know you and answer any questions.
A great place to start is by attending our next Alpha course (a place to explore questions about faith and Christianity).
Clusters are our mid-sized groups where we gather and grow together with other people. There’s a different cluster to suit every type of person, and they each have regular events and small groups that you could attend to find out more.
