RESTORE Stafford has an integrated approach to helping people in financial difficulty.
Bringing practical help, hope and order so that lives and homes can be rebuilt.
Struggling with debt? CAP is a national debt counselling charity with a network of debt centres based in local churches. CAP offers hope and a solution to people in debt through its top quality, in-depth service. Rising Brook Baptist Church has partnered with CAP to offer debt counselling in our community. The service we offer is completely free.
Crash revolves around a group of (like-minded) volunteers who want to see new life brought to the Boroughs of Stafford, Cannock and areas around Staffordshire. New life to people’s homes, gardens, streets, cars, etc.
We offer help with decorating, cleaning, plumbing, gardening and so on, for people who may not otherwise be able to benefit from such work, due to lack of money, special needs, single parents, etc.
Packed with household items for every room in the home, ready to bless those in need; while unwanted items are donated and then passed on completely free of charge, we have discovered that folks who donate are also blessed – from curtain hooks to carpets, or from a spoon to a sofa – Storehouse will accept everything, because if someone has nothing, they could need anything!
Pop Up Food Waste Cafe open every 2nd & 4th Sunday from 12-2pm at Rising Brook Baptist Church. £5 All in. We intercept surplus supermarket food & drink and turn it into hearty home cooked meals.
We offer a ‘pay it forward’ scheme, where customers can buy an extra meal for the less fortunate on their behalf. 20% of our takings go directly to local charities including food bank, debt advice and furniture bank.
Based at Rising Brook. Non-perishable food is given to members of the local community who find themselves temporarily experiencing particular hardship. Our food-bank is stocked by people of the church and supplemented by House of Bread, Christian food Help and Greggs Bakery.
