Children, Youth & Families
Young people are one of the most important parts of who we are at Rising Brook. We believe that children and youth should be given the opportunity to know God personally in their lives and that our families have a crucial role to play in growing faith. Our team of staff and volunteers work hard to put on a range of different programmes for young people of all ages.
During our Sunday services we run a number of programmes for children and young people:
Rising Brook Tots
Children aged 6 months to 4 years can join us in Rising Brook Tots at Stafford Manor High School during our 10:30am service. The Welcome Team will be happy to point you in the right direction when you arrive for the service.
Rising Brook Kids
For children in primary school, Rising Brook Kids is a fun-filled event that runs at Stafford Manor High School from 10:15am to 12:00pm. There’s plenty of time to drop your child with our team before heading to either of our 10:30am services. We play games, watch videos, do craft activities and worship together.
Rising Brook Youth
For young people in Y7-Y9 (aged 11-14), Rising Brook Youth runs from 10:15am to 12:00pm at the Church Centre. It’s a relaxing time to have some fun and hang out as we explore faith together. There’s also some food and drink to wake everyone up.
Rising Brook’s Children, Youth & Families Team deliver children’s and youth work across the UK and further afield. We lead programmes for Spring Harvest (8-11s), Urban Saints (SPREE West Midlands) and other national and international conferences.
